Yesterday our group had to present all our ranges and illustrations and sell it to our tutor and other peers. Overall the presentation went well and we were really pleased how all our ranges worked together, which shows how well we worked as a team.

Enterprise

Our enterprise module has been running throughout the course of the year, the work required for it is to set up our own £10 Business. The £10 must cover all costs such as printing advertising, cost of materials etc... we could also choose if we wanted to work as a sole trader or partnership. So I decided that it would be a good idea to work as a patnership as I work well in a team, so me and my friend Gemma set up our own little business hand embellishing socks. Our inspiration came from miu miu and vivienne westwood, but unfortunately we were unable to create anything like those designs due to the costs of woolen socks so here is an image of the style we produced.

Brand Board

Here is my board that helps define the brand miu miu. I am going to use this as a source of inspiration. This board is separate to the group one we created as I wanted to create a board that would clearly define the brand using bright colours, which works well So i might consider putting this into my portfolio which will feature some developed design work.

Issey Miyake

Somehow I always find myself looking at pleats as inspiration. I find them so interesting and they can create such innovtative pieces like these Issey Miyake ones.

Gareth and Pleats!

This skirt shape is interesting, and of course the pleats adds to the interest of this garment. Lots of fullness to the skirt

I love this picture it just shows what detail pleats can create, I also like the structure of his garments.
